It sounds like the company your working for is doing some very important work that does make a difference. What kind of skills are you gaining from this internship?

It is interesting to see how the level of being social with people differs from job to job. At a lab like this it seems that you don't have to be super social as there is no need to be, but in something like mine where you have to rely on working together efficiently and also tending to patients. How are you finding working at UCSD?

It's great that you were given so much information and articulate yourself in this long of a reflection. You were really able to explain that this job is a passion for your mentor and you show that you utilize knowledge form school to succeed in your internship. it's great that you are making the best out of this experience.
