Reflection:
1. How did you feel learning Spanish for the first time?
This was actually my second time learning Spanish because I took a year of Spanish 1-2 in sixth grade. But, I really don't remember that much from that class so this has been a very good refresher so far. I have enjoyed Spanish so far because it is being taught in a fun and interactive way, which helps me be more interested in what I am learning.
2. What are some challenges you faced in these 2 weeks?
One challenge that I faced this week was that I was trying to remember the language, instead of relearning it. When I tried to remember what I had previously learned, I would get frustrated but then when I just started to learn everything from scratch as if I hadn't learned it before, I was having a better time. Now that I know that I have a less frustrating time when I just relearn instead of trying to remember everything, I will just learn everything from scratch.
3. What grade would you give your recording from an A to an F? Why?
I would give my recording an A because even though we did have some slip-ups, I think we both did a pretty good job for our first time. There is always room for improvement, but for this being our first conversation without a script and since it was not an extremely repetitive conversation, I think we have earned an A. I think since our conversation also wasn't all over the place and random, it made a lot more sense and you could actually follow our train of thought.
